Thermal spraying for fine powder carbon combustion boilers
Boiler furnace walls / furnace bottoms / noses are constructed using high-speed flame spraying methods and plasma spraying methods!
Osaka Fuji Industries is engaged in the power generation sector of the paper manufacturing industry (boilers). We would like to introduce a case study on "thermal spraying for fine coal-fired boilers." As a measure to reduce NOx emissions, the promotion of high-temperature sulfide corrosion due to low-oxygen combustion operation and wear damage from high-pressure steam injection from wall blowers were issues. In response, we applied CrC-based cermet (high-speed flame spraying), as well as 50Ni-50Cr (plasma spraying) and Inconel overlay welding (MIG welding). [Case Overview (Partial)] ■ Construction Example: Fine Coal-Fired Boiler ■ Construction Locations: Boiler furnace wall / Bottom of the furnace / Nose ■ Required Performance: High-temperature corrosion resistance (sulfide corrosion) and high-temperature wear resistance ■ Fuel: Fine coal (contains S, V, Cl) ■ Specifications: - CrC-based cermet (high-speed flame spraying) - 50Ni-50Cr (plasma spraying) Inconel overlay welding (MIG welding) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
